25 Breakfast Ideas For the School Year! Mornings in all households are busy so have breakfast prepped and ready to go! You are sure to find some breakfast recipe inspiration here for everyone!

Well, whether I like it or not, the new school year is upon us. The kids start school on Tuesday! Mornings are always a little crazy. . whether it’s getting Madeline out of bed, lunches packed, or rummaging through the laundry to find a specific t-shirt or skirt. .  we are all a bit crazed in the mornings. As parents, we need to get our kids fed and off to school on time (I am going to be better at this)!

Here are 25 Breakfast Ideas For the School Year! Most of these require some prepping and baking in advance but let me tell you, I always feel 1,000% better taking the time to make or bake something the day before and being able to feed my children something homemade versus throwing a pop tart in the toaster oven.

25 Breakfast Ideas For the School Year

  1. Smoothies! This is my go-to breakfast because I pack mine with greens and the kids can take it on the go (if you are really in a hurry). I have a ton of smoothie recipes, so click here to see them all
  2. Smoothie Bowls! Yes, these require a different line item because these are a bit more substantial and require the kids (or you) to sit down and actually enjoy your breakfast. Also packed with greens, smoothie bowls provide additional nutrition and protein (hello almond butter) from the toppings! My kids love sliced bananas and granola or cereal on theirs. Just like my smoothies, I have a lot of smoothie bowl recipes, so click here to see them all
  3. Baked Egg Tater Tot Muffins! (shown above) Don’t let the name fool you. .  these are packed with spinach and tomatoes too!
