Easter Basket of Goodies! Pick up all of your Easter essentials at your local ALDI and everything you need to make some great Easter baskets. These are great for kids of all ages!
When my girls were young and old enough to walk, I decided I wanted to start an Easter tradition, along with the family Easter brunch and Easter egg hunt: Easter baskets!
The first few years, I went a little crazy and loaded up their Easter baskets with stuffed animals, candy, and plastic eggs. It’s funny because my mother never did this for us as kids so I’m not sure why I feel so strongly about it now. Maybe it’s something special I want to do for my daughters and maybe secretly I am hoping this is something they will do after they are married and older, for their own children.
And it’s not about how much I buy or how big the baskets are but I just love to hand select things for each one of my daughters and I love the excitement in their eyes when they are going through it on Easter Sunday. Plus, who wouldn’t want a basket of goodies on Easter?
I love Easter and what it represents for our family. Rebirth, new beginnings, a new season, spring produce and so much more!
Spring represents so much more to me now, here in Wisconsin, where you literally see with your own eyes, the dramatic change in the weather. The snow melts, the weather warms up and you literally see your grass change from brown to green.
I went to ALDI to stock up on some of my favorite things for my Easter baskets. In my mind, you can’t celebrate Easter without candy or chocolate. And bunny and egg shaped chocolate is a must. Am I right?! And now, there are new UTZ (made with sustainable cocoa) chocolates at ALDI.

I also picked up Easter plush animals, baskets, plastic eggs and this Huntington Home Easter Plaster Painting Kit. My kids love painting so they loved this. I let them have a head start on painting their bunnies so the bunnies would be ready for Easter Sunday.
