Memorial Day Weekend Recipe Roundup!!! Here are some of my favorite recipes for Memorial Day weekend: for the grill, appetizers, pasta salad and more! Enjoy!

Guys! We made it to the end of May and summer break is almost here! HOORAY! What are your plans for this summer? We are all vaccinated, Phoebe included, except Madeline who is 10 years old, and can’t wait for our summer trip! We are all headed to LA, the Hamptons (our first time!) and more. Anyone else super excited for this summer?!

Memorial Day Weekend Roundup

What does Memorial Day mean to you? Memorial Day is not just a day to fire up the grill. It’s a national holiday to honor military personnel who have served (and died) in the performance of their military duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We honor them. We celebrate. We gather. We eat.

This year, we will be gathering with friends. I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally be getting together with PEOPLE again. It brings me to tears. I think this Memorial Day will be extra special for us all. I hope you can find some recipe inspiration below.

Memorial Day Weekend Recipe Roundup

Little Toasts with Braised Beef and chimichurri sauce. This one does take more planning and more time but believe me, it’s freaking delicious. To save time, you can also just grill your beef and serve on toasted bread and topped with chimichurri. Do it.

Pasta salad: I know I’ve shared this pasta salad a million times but it’s because it’s incredible and so easy to make. The dressing is light and fabulous and flavorful. This is why I make this all the time and it’s the best side for any grilled meats or vegetables.

Korean Spicy Grilled Chicken to add some heat and flavor to you Memorial Day gathering. It’s so good.

Grilled Steak Sliders

Grilled Eggplant Bun Burger

Sometimes, I also just grill some flank steak and some veggies, and serve everything on a big platter, as shown above.

If you want to go in a completely new and different/delicious direction, try this Menchi Katsu Burger.

Roasted Potato Salad

End the day with Grilled Peaches and Ice cream or . . .

A simple fruit salad

Strawberry Galette

Summer Berry Crisp

Blondies
