Protein Prep Day

Protein Prep Day! Here’s how I meal prep tofu, chicken and ground turkey to make meals that I can snack on and eat all week long.

One you’re in your 40s, I believe it’s super important to get more protein in your diet. “Hormone Production: Protein aids in the production of hormones, which is crucial during the hormonal fluctuations of menopause. Muscle Decline: As we age, muscle mass naturally decreases. Protein helps slow this decline and supports muscle growth and repair.” Read this to learn more.

I also find that eating more protein keeps me feeling fuller longer. Some of my fave protein packed snacks: cottage cheese on a cracker, or just a 1/2 cup with fruit, protein energy bites, yogurt and more. Hope you can find some recipe inspiration down below! Let me know if you try anything!

Protein Prep Day

Here are some of my favorite ways to prep protein for the week! Chicken salad, pan fried tofu and turkey meatballs; obviously you can also use ground beef! Not included: salmon and tuna. I bake and air fry a lot of salmon as well and make tuna salad.

Protein prep really is a game-changer, especially for staying full and keeping energy steady. Love how many tofu options you shared — the pan-fried tofu with ginger soy sounds
