Fall Inspired French Toast!! Delicious French toast with hints of pumpkin pie spice! So delicious and so easy to make!
Yes, a fall inspired recipe in August. It’s the end of August and my kids started school today. My oldest, Phoebe requested this for breakfast for this week and so I’m going to show you how to freeze these so you can easily whip them out of your freezer and into the toaster oven for a quick, delicious weekday breakfast!
Fall Inspired French Toast
Whoever came up with pumpkin pie spice is a genius. I don’t care what you say. . . I love it. In my coffee, my latte, in muffins, popovers, cakes, waffles, banana breads, cookies and everything. So, naturally I had to reach for it for this Fall inspired french toast! It actually makes perfect sense because most recipes use cinnamon and nutmeg and those are two key ingredients for French toast. Click here to read about the history of french toast.
This recipe is extremely easy to make and very hard to mess up. The biggest question I get? What kind of bread should I use? I would recommend challah, brioche, or a thick white bread. I’m using a farmhouse white bread from my grocery store’s bakery. Try this recipe and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
