Are you a fan of tofu? I am. It’s funny. . this bland block of condensed soy milk can be transformed into something really delicious. My favorite way to enjoy tofu? Pan fried or in soft form: soondubu jjigae.

Easy Tofu Salad
I was craving a fresh, crisp salad and had some tofu to use up. Tofu is a great source of protein and pan frying it gives me the texture that I love. I just threw it on top of cold romaine and some cucumbers and mixed it with a delicious homemade dressing. Do you ever make your own dressings? I love experimenting and just throwing things together.
Easy Tofu Salad
Ingredients
For the dressing:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon gochugaru optional for some heat
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- 1/2 lime fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 squeeze fresh orange juice
For the salad:
- romaine lettuce chopped
- cucumbers sliced
- pan fried tofu
Instructions
- For the dressing: whisk together all of the ingredients. Taste and adjust any ingredients as needed. Set aside.
- For the salad: place the romaine and cucumbers in a serving bowl or plate. Top with pan fried tofu. Serve with the dressing and enjoy!
