Did you ever see that episode of Sex and the City when Samantha gets the chemical peel? If you haven’t, you need to. It’s hilarious. Because while it might be refreshing for your skin in the long run, the short run is a little frightening. The things we ladies do for beauty!
Just relax at home and have smoothies. It’s the best recovery method. And this one looks phenomenal!

I’ve never had or seen the immediate results of a VI Peel so this is intriguing to me…despite the needing to stay in, I think I’d like to try it. I love how your kids were so curious! I am in to grapefruit these days, too! I can’t get enough – this smoothie bowl looks perfect and you know how much I love these colors!!! So beautiful!

I’ve been doing microdermabrasion to lighten my spots but it’s taking forever for them to fade. The peel sounds like it might do the trick. Can’t wait to hear more about it! This smoothie bowl is just what I need for breakfast. Love all the healthy ingredients loaded with natural energy boosters.

Wow! That VI peel sounds like serious business! I would say that I can’t imagine leaving the house for 7 days, but I’ve done so before (too much snow here in Maine!). LOL. I can’t believe you also have a kitchen reno on top of all of that! Anyway, your smoothie bowls look so yummy. I especially love how you arranged the chia seeds and other toppings so beautifully on the bowls. 🙂

Hi Alice, thanks for sharing. I have not yet had a face peel but maybe I should?? I’m 48 – the sun spots are annoying but I there are some great retinol creams out there. Hmmm – sweet of your hubby to cater your Valentines weekend in! Super sweet 🙂 I have been loving green smoothies with spinach lately – I also love them with anything citrus (see my green smoothie recipes on OvenHug). Love your ideas here. thank you for sharing!! ✨ Bita

My pale Irish skin has had a few peels—and I can totally relate to the horrible molting of the skin! There is never a good time to have it done! Glad you’re getting some good results. And you’re sure treating your skin well from the inside out, too—as your smoothie bowl looks healthy and delish!
