Salami Crostini with Gruyere and Maille Dijon Mustard #appetizer #appetizerrecipe #recipe #newyearseve

OK, party people, New Years Eve is tomorrow . . are you ready? Still looking for a great appetizer recipe? What are you doing? We’re going to a friend’s house and will be dancing in the new year. Not the way you might think, we’re going to a Just Dance 2015 dance off. That’s how we roll with kids.

Everyone is bringing an appetizer and I still haven’t decided what I’m making. Here’s a great appetizer round-up for those of us still hitting the grocery stores today for tomorrow’s festivities!

Let’s start with some easy-to-throw-together, but still super delicious, appetizers! It doesn’t get any easier than making crostini in my mind. This salami and emmentaler cheese crostini is both simple and delicious! Toast some bread, spread on the dijon, top with cheese and salami or prosciutto, and you have yourself one mighty fine appetizer.

Looking for a quick and easy appetizer? Try this fabulous and easy crostini recipe!! #appetizer #appetizerrecipe #recipe #newyearseve

For the cheese ball lovers, I absolutely LOVE this Jalapeno Popper Bacon Cheese Ball from Crunchy Creamy Sweet! This super easy appetizer only takes 20 minutes to make! “Packed with cheese, spicy peppers and bacon – this is the ultimate cheese ball!” Isn’t this gorgeous?! And we’re talking about a cheese ball here.

If you like kimchi, you will love this kimchi bruschetta! These are in my top 5 favorite ways to make bruschetta. This is seriously delicious and I had to give some love to kimchi in this round-up. In fact, these might be the apps that I will be bringing to my party tomorrow night.

I absolutely LOVE these beautiful roasted olives from The View from Great Island. Have you ever roasted olives? I never have and can’t wait to try this recipe! Serve this hot with some crusty bread and you have a winner here, folks. I love this recipe! Talk about a gorgeous appetizer to have on the table!

I love these baked veggie wontons! These are actually really easy to make and can be wrapped in the wonton wrapper in two simple steps. Plus, they are baked, not fried so eat as many as you want!

I don’t know about you, but you kind of have to have an appetizer with some brie. I love this Roasted Balsamic Cranberry and Brie Crostini from NeighborFood. I mean, just look at this. Delicious!!! And the roasted balsamic cranberry with the brie just sounds magical.

I love stuffed mushrooms. .  I mean, LOVE them. . and these Spinach Artichoke Dip Stuffed Mushrooms from Snixy Kitchen are brilliant! Spinach artichoke dip in a mushroom!!! I love these!!

Do you need something for the kids? These mac and cheese muffins are always a hit! Great for the kids. . and the big kids too. .  these mac and cheese muffins might be the first apps to disappear off the table and into everyone’s mouths!

And I’ve got to share an appetizer recipe using puff pastry. Well, just because. .  it’s puff pastry we’re talking about. I LOVE these Havarti Pear Thyme Puff Pastry Bites from Shared Appetite! Chris is a master mind and because havarti + pear + walnuts + puff pastry = freaking delicious!

HAVARTI, PEAR, AND WALNUT PUFF PASTRY BITES from Shared Appetite!!

And last, but certainly not least, if you’ve got some time, these empanadas are always a hit. They are delicious and you can make a few different kinds for variety.

I’m loving all of these easy appetizers, Alice! But I have to say, my go to super easy appetizer is always meat and cheese on crackers and I’m totally loving your salami & cheese crostini appetizer. Because what’s better than a cracker? Bread, of course!

Hope you have loads of fun at your New Years party. Happy New Year!
