Honey Sriracha Pigs in a Blanket!!! So good and SO EASY to make! These are perfect for a party or game day!
Bowls of chips, dip, salsa, nachos, chicken wings. . burgers, dogs, sliders. . I absolutely love game day food. Whoever decided that people should get together, stuff their faces, yell, scream and watch football together is brilliant.
And if the Broncos win, it’s guaranteed that my husband will be happy and in a good mood for the rest of the day. I could even ask him to do that thing I have I’ve been asking him to do since we moved in. That thing that involves finding my arm weights and extra pair of sneakers that are buried in a box somewhere, under several other boxes, in our freezing garage.
Hell, if the Broncos win, I might even be able to talk him into TWO girls only weekend trips.
So, even though I’m rooting for the Seattle Seahawks . . (Seattle, our previous home. The city I love so dearly) . . if the Broncos win, I win too. And if you make these Honey- Sriracha Pigs in a Blanket, you will win too.
Yes, this is
Game day is probably the only time I will allow my husband and kids to eat as many Beef Little Smokies as they desire. . this recipe is super simple and quick and you can even make the honey sriracha sauce the day before and refrigerate it so on game day, all you need to do is assemble and bake.
It’s that simple.
Make your honey sriracha sauce. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Unroll the Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, separate into triangles and cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
Place all of your sausages in the honey sriracha sauce and toss well to coat. Place sausage on the dough triangle and roll up each, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point; place point side down on a parchment paper covered baking sheet.
My 5 year old helped me with these. They don’t have to look perfect.
Bake and enjoy!
Honey-Sriracha Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients
For the honey-sriracha glaze:
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ heaping cup Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes optional
For the pigs in a blanket:
- 2 cans 8 oz each Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs from two 14-oz packages
Instructions
For the honey sriracha glaze:
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour until lightly browned, for about 1 minute. Stir in the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice and red chili pepper flakes. Bring to a slight boil and let simmer until slightly thickened, for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
To assemble:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll both cans of the dough; separate into 16 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
- Place all of your sausages in the honey sriracha sauce and toss well to coat. Place a sausage on each dough triangle and roll up each, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point; place point side down on a parchment paper covered baking sheet.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown, rotating baking sheet halfway through baking. Enjoy with ketchup, mustard, or other dipping sauces and condiments if desired.

Brilliant combos of flavors, Alice. The compare and contrast of Sriracha and honey are undoubtedly unbeatable…Thank you for this sure-fire winner recipe, Alice. I love, love, love do-able and delicious!

A happy man in the house gets a lot accomplished, you’re so right Alice! I might eat these for dinner any day, after work. So easy! And who doesn’t love hot dogs and sriracha!
haha, yes!! so hopefully there’s time to go a digging in the garage after the game! 🙂
Sounds like this Super Bowl is a win-win for you. And if you make these again, it’s win-win-win. These are awesome! Sharing on my FB page today!

Sriracha makes everything better! Plus, Little Smokies are always a huge hit at our house. Definitely pinning this one for later!
Thank you so much! yes, my kids love the little smokies!! 🙂 and yes totally agree about sriracha! when it first came out, I wasn’t a fan but I quickly came around!
Sriracha — my favorite. This look amazing! I’m going to have to make these today. 🙂
Awesome! Please let me know how you like the honey sriracha glaze! 🙂 Go Hawks!!
Oooh, this flavor combo is right up my alley!
Pigs in a blanket are perfect little eats to pick up and eat with our hands while watching a game or at any party and yours with the addition of hot and spicy Sriracha is genius, especially as I’m trying to have more hot sauce in my diet! Roz
Ha ha!! I love it!! What a way to spice up pigs in a blanket!!! Such a great idea!! I want to try this!
I love pigs in blankets! And you really can’t go wrong with a sweet, tangy and spicy sauce! This would be a great condiment for regular hot dogs!
Oh, I love sriracha so, so much! Pinning these for later, for sure! I love pigs in a blanket too. 🙂 Thanks so much for posting! And since I don’t have a dog in this fight (Go Cowboys? Next year?), I will send a good vibe to the Seahawks for you. Or would you prefer it go to the Broncos? I’m open-minded! 🙂
I love sweet heat and these look fabulous!! I could eat a million!!
Would you pass that plate of pigs in the blanket please???? omg, I love this idea. And hip-horray for that husband of yours cheering on my home town. You can imagine how crazy we’ve been over the last two weeks. Go Broncos. And thanks so much for sharing a great appetizer idea. I’ve got to make these very soon.
Because of you, I’ve been thinking of pigs in a blanket all morning! I realized I’ve never made these for my kids – what kind of mama am I?! – and these sound amazing!
What wonderful flavors, Alice!! I love anything with sriracha in it, and I’m all for the whole happy husband part. LOL, yes, I waited until hubby was all happy about something to ask him to help me hang the Christmas lights outside. And I made him a nice meat-centric meal that night 🙂
Winning post, winning recipe and winning outcome…regardless of which team wins!!!
Now these are the BEST pigs in a blanket I’ve ever seen!!! We’re rooting for the Broncos, too…in fact, I think our whole city would love to see Peyton win another Super Bowl. Fingers crossed you’ll get that favor later tonight 🙂
Oooh, can you come make these for me tonight?
I still have to find Siracha around here, but these look amazing! I love sweet and spicy together! Great idea!
So cute, spicy and delicious, perfect for today.
I’d certainly go through those boxes in the freezing garage if it meant getting these pigs in a blanket. Oh heavenly sriracha goodness.
Haha, thanks Renee! Since the Broncos lost, my husband is completely bummed so it’ll be me going through those boxes! 🙂
That Sriracha touch is pure genius!
haha thanks, Chung-Ah! 🙂
Is that leftover chimichurri I spy there? 🙂 I admit, I’ve been sort of scared of pigs in a blanket until recently, but I could totally get on board with these!
haha, yes!!! After those sliders I made more and find myself dipping anything and everything in it. . even just bread. 🙂
Love these!! Not your average pigs in a blanket that’s for sure! Happy Sunday!
I’m a huge pigs-in-a-blanket fan but we usually just dip in mustard or sauce after baking. You are so smart to dip the sausages first, Alice. Don’t know why that never occurred to me!
I would have filled up my plate with these, and these alone. YUM!!!
I can not express to you how much I love pigs in a blanket. And sriracha makes everything even better!
I love all things Sriracha. Then you add the honey and put it in a pigs in a blanket? YES PLEASE!!
Too bad Paul’s team didn’t win! I really don’t care at all since I’m have zero interest in football but it IS very cool that Seattle won. I love your spin on pigs in a blanket! That honey sriracha blend sounds ah-may-zing, you’re brilliant for slathering the hot dogs in it before baking, and it’s sweet that Phoebe helped make these. They look fantastic!
Thanks Nance!!
Love how you spiced these up! And you couldn’t lose, cheering for both teams in the game!
I could mainline sriracha so this definitely is for me
Sriracha is the best way to spice things up!
These are extraordinary! So quick but perfect.
Oh my goodness, I just love what you did to a plain old pigs in a blanket recipe. You stepped it up a notch and gave it a swift kick. I’m all over these babies Alee!
Great combination of sweet and spicy, and they look so adorable!
