Burger Salad with Thousand Island Dressing! A deconstructed burger salad bowl filled with pickled red onions, bread and butter pickles, guacamole and more!

Friends, if you have made my Thousand Island dressing and quick pickled red onions, then you absolutely must make this recipe. Very similar to my Chopped Burger Salad, this salad is basically a deconstructed burger in a bowl. Believe me, you won’t miss the bun with this one.

Weekly Meal Prep

I eat a lot of protein so I like to cook and prep a lot of protein in advance: ground beef, ground turkey, hard boiled eggs and chicken. For the beef and turkey, I like making patties. Here’s my Turkey Burger with Gochujang recipe and how to make Juicy burgers at home.

Burger Salad with Thousand Island Dressing

Last year, I cut out bread and pasta. I found new ways to enjoy the foods I love without the bread. For me, as long as a recipe hits savory, sweet, spicy and has texture, it’s a winner. This salad is satisfying and so delicious on so many levels.

If you are trying to eat low carb or just want to enjoy a delicious burger salad bowl, I hope you try this recipe!

What is the hot honey you mentioned in the salad? Is it honey just heated in microwave ?

It’s this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQC82L73?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzalicecho-20&creativeASIN=B0BQC82L73&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.39BJFKFG4XX6I&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin .. you don’t have to buy this brand. They also sell hot honey at Trader Joe’s. it’s spicy and sweet.
