KitchenAid Mini Stand Mixer Giveaway! Enter to win a brand new KitchenAid Mini Stand Mixer!!! It’s still as powerful as a regular sized one and still uses all the same attachments! It just takes up less counter space!

Happy Wednesday you guys! Today is my Madeline’s birthday. She is officially 6 years old. At age 6, I think kids are great and so much fun. She’s fearless (most of the time), spunky, outgoing and caring.  She’s the youngest and the funfetti and sprinkles of our family.

Madeline was running and fell down the other day and managed to bang up her mouth and nose pretty good on our hard wood floors. There were tears, blood and a fat lip. And the next day, and the days to follow, her nose was swollen and bruised. Broke my heart. You know how a bruise needs to get worse before it can get better? Every time I looked at her little face. It went from lightly bruised to different shades of blue and purple. I was so afraid she had broken her nose.

The fall happened a couple of days before Thanksgiving and good thing we had a lot of baking, entertaining and dancing to do, which kept her mind off of her very bruised nose. I take videos all the time (on instagram story and snapchat) when we are baking and totally forgot to save the one we did when we were making mini bundt cakes.

There’s something about baking that just makes you feel better. I love that you simply mix some ingredients together, bake them and then, voila, you get something magical and delicious!

Our KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer helps us with all the baking we do here at home. I seriously cannot live without this thing! It’s probably my most favorite counter top appliance I have.

And I even used my stand mixer on Thanksgiving to mix my sweet potato casserole! Recipe coming soon!

Oh my fav holiday cookie is using cornflake marshmallow treats- just like rice krispy treats but with cornflakes . Then adding a bit of green food coloring , shape in to circle wreath form , and adding two to three red hot candies on each wreath cookie. Works great with a huge piece of wax paper laid out on the counter . They are so good and remind my of my childhood !

Aw Alice! The little one is going to go through a lot of bumps and bruises because of her spunky personality. My little sister was the same way. Happy Birthday for her! I like those Paleo chocolate chip cookies. I may be tempted to try those, too! Be well…….. ?

Aww so sorry your little baby got a little bump! I assume she’s all well now? Hope so! Sorry I missed your giveaway 🙁 One of my top favorite things to bake in the kitchen is chocolate chip cookies with my little angel (she loves helping mommy out hehe).
