DIY Food Gift Baskets!!! Put together your own food gift basket as a gift this year! Customize it based on what your friends and family like! It’s so easy and you can be as creative as you like!
I can’t believe it’s already December 10th! We don’t have any snow here in Wisconsin, which is weird but the tree is up, the holiday lights are everywhere and the girls are having so much fun with Kendall, our Elf on the Shelf. OK, I so wish I did Elf on the Shelf last year. . this thing works like a charm. Anytime the misbehaving starts, I just point and say, “Kendall is watching you.” and then they listen.
It’s brilliant!
We’re in full blown holiday mode and will soon be swept up in holiday parties, shopping and gift wrapping paper. One of my favorite parts about the holidays is gift giving. I love getting a little creative with my gifts and food is almost always involved.
I love the idea of making and giving food gift baskets because I think they make such a great gift and come in so handy! Who else has a packed house over the holidays? And who couldn’t use some cheese, crackers, chocolate covered almonds, cranberry relish and wine in the house??!!
I’ve partnered together with Wisconsin Cheese and have put together three gift basket ideas!! And I made a video you guys! I hope you watch it and check out the different gift baskets I put together! These would make great gifts!
There’s no recipe today. Simply this: over the holidays, make sure you put together a cheese platter and enjoy some cheese over the holidays with your family. . I grew up eating cheese, salami, crackers, chocolates and all sorts of great munchies with my dad over the holidays. This is probably why I always have to have a cheese platter out for everyone to enjoy.
And, if you’re local in Madison, WI, I’m doing my first LIVE TV segment today on WISC-TV Channel 3000. I’ll be on during the 4pm news. . they are telling me around 4:50pm .. so please tune in!
