Halloween is two days . . are you ready?!!!
As a kid, I didn’t really care much for Halloween, other than the candy, I wasn’t very big into the costumes and getting dressed up. That all changed, of course, after getting married and having kids. One year, there was a Halloween costume contest at my daughter’s school and my husband went all out. He was a ninja warrior, complete with the wig, long white beard, outfit and sword. He got second place that year but it’s all good.
Keeps us on our toes for next year.
Are you hosting a Halloween party this year and need a great cocktail? Well, I have a great recipe for you today!!
This Old Fashioned Spooooooky Ghoultini is my spin on an old fashioned with a twist! It’s delicious!! You guys, the coolest thing about this post, other than using my freaking power tool of a blender for this recipe, was working with dry ice.
Oh my gawd, SO FUN. I loved it.
If you guys are in the market for a new blender, you have to check out
Note: I do not recommend putting any dry ice into your cocktails. Just use the dry ice for decoration at your party table.

so fun!! I love this Alice, perfect for Halloween!!
Alice I am so loving your ghoulish photos! Haha and “ghoul-tini” is BRILLIANT!
Ghoultine! What a fancy word for a very fancy drink! 🙂 Whiskey and Cherries together sound like heaven! I wonder if you could warm it up together for Xmas time, like a Gluewhine.. now that would be delish.
So fun, and appetizingly pretty too!
It’s good that you can enjoy the holiday more now. I like seeing the holidays through my kids’ eyes, which reminds me of how I used to feel when I was little. It’s cool! And your husband must’ve really gotten into it. The most I can do is convince mine to dress like Michael Jackson, year after year. He really loved Michael Jackson. 🙂
These look appropriately spooky. Creepy photo shoot accomplished, Alice!
Oh this is just the cutest drink, Alice! I would gladly sip on this for Halloween or any time of the year. So festive!
This is so fun, Alice! I would much rather stay home and drink a couple of these than participate in any Halloween festivities. I’m a chicken and I don’t like scary stuff. Lol!
I’ll take two or three of these right about now!
OMG! My husband and I have been searching for the perfect drink to make tomorrow ALL week. And you just posted it! LOVE this Alice!
Haha that’s awesome that your husband went all out! He sounds just like mine – he dresses up every year too 🙂 I just got back from my son’s Halloween school party and it’s so much fun seeing all the adorable costumes. I love this ghoultini – so festive and looks absolutely spoooooktacular!!!
Omg I love the photos!!! That dry ice looks so cool. Also I want that blender 😀 Clicking over now to see the whole recipe!
Haha, I wouldn’t even know where to get dry ice! It looks SO cool though! I love my Torrent — it’s a serious step up from my $12 blender! Lol. This is so fun Alice!
This Martini is fabulous, Alice!! I love the name and the look! Totally perfect for Halloween! I want to make this, where the heck did you get dry ice?! I could never find it in Orlando and I certainly can’t find it out here in the Stix. 😉 Anyways, hope you and the girls have a Halloween as spook-tastic as this drink! Cheers! <3
Oh, pinned! Almost forgot!! Xo
haha, these are so fun Alice! Love the name and the flavors…
I love this cocktail and the whole setup 🙂 heading over now for the recipe.
Happy Halloween Alice! I’m not so much into dressing up, but I love Halloween parties! This martini looks awesome, love the name 🙂
Oooh, these drinks look fabulous, Alice! I love the black icing swirls in there! Hope your girls had a lot of fun trick-or-treating yesterday!
