We love apples at my house! Ever since the kids were young, I have always kept the skin on. I wanted my kids to learn to love apples as is, with the skin on and get all of the great nutrition and fiber!

My kids will eat apples whole, sliced and with peanut butter. One day, we were at Sur La Table and my husband purchased Apple Donuts! A healthy, delicious snack to serve to your kids! Top the apples with almond butter, peanut butter or have some fun with Nutella! Add sprinkles, hemp seeds, nuts or raisins, it's up to you!

You can make these super sweet and dessert like and use Nutella and sprinkles, or go healthier for a great after school snack and use almond butter and raisins or hemp seeds.
