Healthy Weekly Meal Plan 11.12.16! A healthy weekly meal plan featuring Sautéed Sweet Potato and Greens Breakfast Bowls, Autumn Corn Chowder, Butternut Squash Potato Leek Soup and more!

Hey guys! I am so happy the weekend is here. It’s been a crazy, draining, emotional week for our country. I am still processing everything that has happened. I did not vote for Trump but now that he is our President, I am praying that he does well and there is peace for our country. Honestly, I’m scared. And I’m scared for our country.

One day at a time. That’s what we have to do. This is what I keep telling myself.

Also, I just got back from Los Angeles. I was there to attend Rina’s funeral and I took the red eye home so I’m tired. It was a beautiful service and ceremony and obviously, a very sad day. But we are celebrating her life, who she was, all of the beautiful things she did and how she touched so many people.

I have a very busy week coming up and I could use some positive vibes. Prayers and positive vibes. That is honestly the only way I’ve come this far. God’s strength. And pure barre, and taking care of myself by resting, eating well and getting sleep.

Through all of this, seeing my children and spending time with them has brightened my day so much. I also get so much joy from cooking for them and watching them eat. Like, actually watching them eat. Does anyone else do this? I hope I don’t sound crazy but I love it when they eat their dinner and I know they are getting nourishment and energy and all the good things from the food I have cooked for them.

This week will be crazy so I will just print out the grocery list down below and make everything on here. It’s all delicious and already set! Just follow the schedule/menu down below!

Have a great weekend, everyone! I’ll be back on Monday with a Thanksgiving Day side dish you have to make!

Alice, I’m very sorry for the loss of your good friend. My deepest sympathy to her and her family and friends.
Your girls are amazingly terrific eaters. What a palette they have.
