As soon as I arrived to the NBC Studios and entered the kitchen set, I was given a mug and the apron and it all became real in that moment.

My TODAY Show Debut!! It's been a crazy past few days but I wanted to share my experience with you all!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have become a little obsessed with the Boomerang app. Sorry guys ..  I can’t get enough!

The kitchen team and staff at The TODAY Show is amazing and so so talented. I arrived and Allison, their senior food stylist, was there and had already prepared 4 tarts and was working on the 5th for the beauty shot for the segment.

I was there about an hour before I was set to go on so I used the time to practice. We ran into Kathie Lee and Hoda and can I just say that they are so so nice and warm? I was so intimidated to meet them but they were the nicest and so kind!

My TODAY Show Debut!! It's been a crazy past few days but I wanted to share my experience with you all!

Within that hour, it was so calm. It was just me and Allison chatting and getting things ready and then literally within what felt like less than 5 minutes, 15 to 20 people walk in. .  maybe less but it felt like at least 15 (camera people, producers, the hosts etc) people and we were ready to go.

I was so happy to be on with Natalie and Willie and Dylan were right there, right in front of me sitting on the counter eating my tart. Happiest moment ever!

Natalie is one of my favorites and guys, she is freaking beautiful in real life. I mean she’s beautiful on TV but even prettier in real life. .  well, they all are! Kathie Lee, Hoda, Dylan and Willie. .  all such great looking people and so so nice and kind.

My TODAY Show Debut!! It's been a crazy past few days but I wanted to share my experience with you all!

The segment went by in a heartbeat and for being my first time on national TV, I think I did ok. I didn’t hear Natalie tell me we only had 30 seconds left, otherwise I would not have kept going. .  live and learn. I was thrilled that everyone loved the tart and because of Allison and her kitchen team, the tart looked and tasted amazing. .  and that is all I could have asked for!

The bonus for me was that last little piece at the end. .  if you watched this LIVE, you probably saw this.  . but I was told to stay put after we finished my segment and then this happened.

Willie, Dylan, Hoda and Kathie Lee all came around the counter and there was one last clip before it was over! Click here to see it! (Recorded from my brother’s TV)

This whole experience was a dream and I am so forever grateful and happy. For those who left me a comment on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, texted me, emailed me, called me. .  I am SO thankful for all the love, support and well wishes.

Thank you so much!

And you have to make this tart! Click here for the recipe and to see the segment if you missed it!

I made these for my co-workers using phyllo dough mini tarts instead of puff pastry. They were adorable finger food that was portable and delicious! So much fun to assemble.
