Air Fryer Dumplings. Mandu, Gyoza, wontons, potstickers, whatever you call them, if you have an air fryer, you have to make this recipe! Throw them in frozen and you get crispy, delicious dumplings!
Do You Have An Air Fryer?
There was definitely a period of time while we were living in the apartment that I was using my air fryer almost everyday. Now, that we’ve moved into the house, I had packed it in my pantry and kind of forgot about it. Until today.
Air fryers are a great way to get crispy, crunchy “fried” foods without all the fat and oil and without actually frying anything. I have the air fryer made by Instant Pot but there are a ton of great air fryer brands out there!
Air Fryer Dumplings
This is quite possibly the easiest and most delicious snack, or meal, ever! I love eating dumplings (mandu) and my favorite way to cook them is probably pan frying. The only problem with pan frying is – I have to use a lot of oil and time if I want them really crispy. With the air fryer, I literally brush on a little oil, put them in, press a few buttons and they are done. It can’t get any easier than that. Hope you try the recipe!
Air Fryer Dumplings
Equipment
- Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 8 to 12 frozen dumplings any kind
- oil spray or vegetable oil
- furikake optional
- sesame seeds
- diced green onions or scallions
- soy sauce + brown rice vinegar
Instructions
- Brush the frozen dumplings with the oil and place into your air fryer tray or basket in an even layer.
- Air Fry at 385°F for 8 minutes. Flip the dumplings over (or rotate trays) and continue to Air Fry for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until they are your preferred crispiness.
- Enjoy with furikake, sesame seeds, diced green onions and soy sauce, with a splash of brown rice vinegar.
Notes
- Cook Frozen – Do not thaw first.
- Turn as needed. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket or tray
- Recipe timing is based on a non-preheated air fryer. If cooking in multiple batches back to back, the following batches may cook a little faster
