How to Make a 6 minute soft boiled egg! These are my favorite and so easy! Make these for breakfast, brunch or literally any time of the day!

If you watch my Instagram stories, you know I love eggs. Soft boiled eggs are my favorite! Eat these for breakfast, use these soft boiled eggs to top your ramen noodles, or simply sprinkle on some everything but the bagel seasoning! These are so easy to make and are so good! Just follow the recipe card below!

How To Make a Soft Boiled Egg

Ingredients

  • water
  • eggs
  • seasoning of your choice

Instructions

For the eggs:

  • Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Slowly add in the eggs into the gentle to medium boiling water, leave for 6 minutes and then immediately remove the eggs and into an ice bath. Wait a few minutes, peel and enjoy.
  • Top with seasoning of your choice!

To peel:

  • After the eggs have been in the ice bath for a few minutes, lightly tap them on your countertop or a hard surface and peel gently under cold running water. Enjoy!
