Recently, I had the great honor of being asked to participate in a web video series that Isthmus, a local news and entertainment website here in Madison, does with local chefs. Local chefs go into people’s kitchens and cook dinner for them.
When they asked me, my first reaction was, “but I’m not a chef.” Their response: but you have a huge following here in the Madison area and you love to cook! So, we ran a contest on Instagram where people signed up, so they know it would be me coming to cook dinner for them.
I got to cook dinner for four amazing women! I was given Willow Creek Farms pork chops (which are the BEST!) and can be purchased from Metcalfe’s Market if you’re in the Madison area. I ended up making seared pork chops, an apple, fennel and spinach salad and sautéed mushrooms.
I was really happy with how the dinner came out! It’s my plan to make this over again and share the recipe here very soon! Hope you enjoy!
