The holidays ARE HERE!!!!

This is truly a joyful time for my family .. sure, it’s hectic and crazy but there’s so much to look forward to. I love seeing all the Christmas lights on the houses, our tree is up and there’s a festive feeling in the air.

I went to the post office today and everyone was so nice. You’d think the opposite, right? Crazy, running into the post office to mail stuff. .  but no, everyone was super nice. I was carrying a bunch of stuff and someone graciously held the door open for me. I did the same when I was leaving and the man who I was holding the door for was so nice.

Paul and I watched the Nutcracker tonight with the kids. It was put on by one of our local ballet studios. It was so good and when we got home, Phoebe and Madeline immediately changed into their leotards and said they were going to put on a show. Phoebe now wants to take ballet again. HA! That’s all it took?!!!

Well, we’re happy and thankful and can’t wait to see my family in Dallas for Christmas . . I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner. I’m almost finished with gifts and I actually ordered holiday cards this year!!

I was able to get my act together because of Minted!!! I love the holiday card designs that Minted offers. And you can actually see who designed it! I love that! I also love their card stock. It’s high quality and beautiful.

Minted Holiday 5

Minted not only makes gorgeous holiday cards, but they also have stationery, art, gifts and more! And if you order your holiday cards from them, they now offer recipient address printing! Look how gorgeous these are!

TheMintedEnvelope

The whole process is super easy! You pick a card template, drop your photo in, customize it and order it! You can see a proof, or if you choose not to, you get your cards 2 days faster.

I was going to use the photo above of the girls for our holiday card but whenever I get cards from friends, I like seeing the whole family, so we went with this:

It’s blurry because this is a screenshot of my final card.

Today, I’ve partnered with Minted to offer one lucky reader a $200 gift code to Minted! This giveaway will only last for FOUR DAYS so the winner has time to order cards and get them in a timely manner!

how does anyone pick just one favorite? i think the ornament shaped cards are really cute, but i’m kind of old fashioned in the sense that i like regular ol’ rectangle ones. the ‘winter botanical holiday card’ in the latte color would be my top choice! the gold foil ones are pretty tempting though too :p
