Hello YUM.
This is my January Bestowed box delivery.
Bestowed is the creation of nationally recognized nutritionist and author Heather Bauer and is the answer to all those that have ever stood in the health food section of their local grocery store and said to themselves . . . “which one of these is really the best??” Each month, Heather and her team of health and diet experts carefully curate product samples that have caught their attention. Items like nutrition bars, snacks, breakfast cereals, and supplements are just a few of the categories considered. Bestowed members receive these samples in a box delivered right to their door each month.
I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable about many health food/all-natural brands but new ones come out all the time and like it’s stated above, it’s a little overwhelming when visiting the grocery store. I love what companies like Bestowed are doing. They are making it very easy for consumers to try different brands, foods, snacks and bars- brands and products that we might have never heard about or come across in the store. And they are delivering it right to your door. Could this be any easier and convenient?
Oh and it’s FREE Shipping.
Can’t beat that.
And it was Bestowed that introduced me to KIND Snacks last April, which I buy and eat now all the time so I really love this concept of having new healthy brands and snacks, bars and other stuff delivered to you. So, what healthy goodness did I get this month?
Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
This smoothie was pretty good. I prefer making my own at home but if you’re in a hurry or on the go, this is a great alternative! And OatWorks takes it further. . Imagine taking your big bowl of oatmeal with fruit on top with you in the car or on the train to work – not a pretty sight. Oatworks to the rescue! Their ‘bottle of oats’, boasting vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO qualities, now makes your coveted morning breakfast portable and delicious. All-natural fruit, whole oats, and zero sweeteners makes this smoothie the ideal replacement for a sit-down meal when time is short. The soluble fiber from the oats will help lower bad cholesterol and power your day from the very first sip!
OK, these Bean and Rice Chips from Beanfields are AWESOME! This was my favorite new find in the box this month. Beanfield’s Bean and Rice chips are all natural chips that give you 4 grams of complete protein and 4 grams of fiber per ounce. That’s more protein per ounce than an egg! You can also add ‘Certified Gluten-Free’ and non-GMO verified to its stellar repertoire, along with no corn. Also, Beanfield’s is a family owned Certified B Corp, meaning they care about people and our planet. I’ve already found a store close to me that sells these!
And these Cooggies Oatmeal Raisin/Double Chocolate Cookies are delicious and perfect for kids who don’t want to eat their veggies! These are veggie-based cookies, featuring carrot, cauliflower, and even broccoli, with a healthy dose of Fiber, Potassium, Iron, Magnesium, and Calcium. My kids gobbled these up.
