There’s something pretty great about kicking back with a cold, fresh margarita on a week night. I’ve recently been dabbling in mixing drinks and am having so much fun.
On the day I made these, I did the unthinkable. I opened the windows and sliding door (to the deck) in our dining room area. It was finally over 40 degrees and I took advantage of it. I wanted some fresh air as I sipped my margarita and flipped through the latest issue of Food and Wine magazine. Katy Perry was playing in the background and I was just happy.
Enter Casa Noble Tequila.
Casa Noble ultra premium tequila begins with carefully selected mature Blue Agave plants, which have met strict requirements for water and sugar content. They employ only traditional methods and slow cook their rich agave piñas for 38 hours in stove ovens. Then, using only the core and heart of the agaves, they extract the sweet nectar. Their fermentation process is 100% natural, followed by triple distillation. The result is a tequila so pure and full of Agave flavor that it has elevated the concept of tequila to new levels around the world.
I couldn’t wait to try this tequila. And I knew I had to mix up something special . . so I bought some navel oranges, blood oranges (gotta get them fast while they are still in season!) and fresh sage and went to work.
I’m no tequila expert but the Casa Noble Tequila was so smooth and these Blood Orange Margaritas were so delicious! If you’re looking for a new margarita recipe. . you must try this!
Enjoy and Happy Earth Day!
