Mornings with Kite Hill Yogurt! Kite Hill almond milk yogurt with granola and fresh berries and honey! My kids love this for breakfast or as an after school snack!
In the blink of an eye, summer was gone and the new school year began. We were off to a great start and the kids were full of excitement to get the new school year going. It’s funny, just when you and the kids are about to go crazy, it’s time to go back to school. I love getting the kids back on a regular schedule, getting them back into the groove of things and getting myself back to my normal work schedule.
A couple of weeks ago, Madeline, my youngest, was at a birthday party at a local gymnastics place and fell, landed on her arm and broke it.
We knew something wasn’t right when she couldn’t bend it and burst into tears. We rushed to the emergency room and spent three to four hours there. Waiting, taking X-rays and waiting some more for the results.
With kids, things never seem to happen according to plan. Madeline broke her arm, just in time for our family vacation; our first cruise! We had to re-plan some things since Madeline couldn’t go into the water and we found lots of other fun things to do on the cruise.
The next few weeks are sure to have a few disappointing moments. Things she can’t do because she has a cast on. . but I’m hoping they will also be full of new and exciting things too.
The hard things make you stronger right?!
While at that same birthday party, we stayed for cake and ice cream. . I waited around to talk to the manager to find out exactly what had happened since I wasn’t there at the time. I was helping the parents of the birthday girl hand out slices of cake and ice cream and noticed one little girl wasn’t eating anything.
She had a special bag packed and her mother soon arrived and took out some special ice cream for her daughter to enjoy. “Your daughter is dairy-free?” I asked. “Yes, dairy-free and gluten free” her mother responded.
I’m so happy that there are so many choices out there now for kids with different dietary needs. I didn’t have any of this when I was young, and although, my kids can enjoy dairy, I have a problem with dairy sometimes. I keep both regular milk and almond milk in the house.
And now we keep our fridge stocked with these new yogurt tubes from
My kids and I love almond milk so we were thrilled to try these almond milk yogurt tubes from Kite Hill. I had actually first heard about Kite Hill from
Their dairy-free tubes start with almond milk, traditionally cultured into creamy goodness. Then they add ripe strawberries, bananas, ripe berries and live active cultures to create these delicious yogurt tubes.
My kids have enjoyed the Kite Hill almond milk yogurt tubes, straight from the tubes, frozen (which they love!) and with granola and fresh berries and honey! My kids love this for breakfast or as an after school snack! Either way, it’s all delicious!
Whether you or your child is dairy-free or just looking to try a delicious new yogurt snack, I hope you give these Kite Hill almond milk yogurt tubes a try!
