Green Giant: New Veggie Snack Chips!

Green Giant Veggie Chips Key Visual 1-1

As a food blogger, I find myself thinking about, writing about, dreaming about and eating food throughout the day. I love discovering new recipes, restaurants, cookbooks and most of all, new snacks.

A lot of people ask me how I stay in shape if I am consuming and photographing so much food all the time. Here’s my secret: I eat small portions, snack throughout the day and I exercise and drink lots of water.  And when you see me photographing and putting food on Instagram, I am certainly not eating everything. I am the ultimate snacker and grazer. Eating a little bit here and there.

And when it comes to snacks, I try to eat as healthy as possible but hey, let’s be realistic folks.  I love chips and sweets too much to deny them. But again, I snack in moderation. Quantity is key for me. . .  Unlike my husband, who- if I don’t watch him or take the bag away, will eat an entire bag of chips in one sitting. It’s hilarious because he leaves a trail of crumbs on the living room couch and pretends to not know what happened to the brand new bag of snack chips I just purchased.

When we received the bags of the new Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips and Garden Ranch and Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips (Barbecue flavor), I almost didn’t get a chance to photograph the chips or the bags. These snack chips certainly did not last long. They are really yummy. If I allowed myself too, I could have eaten the entire bag of the Sweet Potato chips. They were SO GOOD. Loved the tang from the BBQ. This bag was eaten up right away by my entire family so, fortunately, we saved the Garden Ranch chips to photograph.

These chips were really yummy too so you can’t go wrong with trying either one of these. If you are like me, when I grocery shop, I am always looking for new products and snacks to try. Every now and then, I like to mix up a quick dip to eat with my chips so we made the quickest and easiest dip out there: sour cream mixed with dry ranch seasoning and I mix in fresh chives.

But these chips didn’t even really need a dip, they are tasty just on their own.  So, again, if you are looking for some new snack chips to try, look for these, from Green Giant. I already saw these on the shelves in Kroger here in Dallas. But I will not be held responsible if you do eat the entire bag in one sitting.

It’s true – the number 1 question I get from people when they find out I’m a food blogger (and look at my blog) is “how are you NOT 400 pounds?” Well, even though I’m far from a skinny-minnie, yeah, it’s not like I’m making brownies for my blog and then just chowing down on them in the middle of the afternoon. haha. A lot of dishes, I’ll photograph in the afternoon, but then wrap up and save for dinner. Sometimes, I don’t even taste them at all until dinner!
