My Spot on The Drew Barrymore Show! I’m on the Drew Barrymore Show today making my Spicy Korean Pork Tacos! Click here for the full recipe!

I’m sure most of you out there know who Drew Barrymore is. But did you know she now has a talk show? It’s based in NYC and, as with all live shows right now of any kind, everyone is pivoting and figuring out how to do TV in the middle of a pandemic. I’ve seen people joining live TV shows via whatever digital online thing they have. Most people are actually not in the same studio, even though it may appear that they are. Click here to see when Cameron Diaz was beamed onto the stage from Los Angeles. Read about it here.

My Spot on The Drew Barrymore Show

Huge THANK YOU to the following:

    • Maximalist Studios: I am cooking in their gorgeous chef’s kitchen studio
    • PatchTown Films: for filming and editing this video for me
    • Jennifer Haines: my doing my hair and makeup

How does one get asked to be on the show you might ask? I received an email from one of their Associate Field Producers asking me if I would be interested in making a recipe video for the show. Um, YES!

Honestly, I’ve received all of these opportunities that I have because of Instagram. And now, it’s TikTok. Social media and my little space here on the internet: Hip Foodie Mom.

I’ve watched practically all of her movies but most of all, I just love the person that Drew is. She shows her honest, beautiful self and I love her so much!

Feeling Thankful

I’ll be honest, I just try to enjoy what I am doing. Enjoy the now. Enjoy my family, my kids. Just enjoy cooking and sharing recipes. And that’s it.

So, if I can be on a show or platform that shares more of my recipes with more people, that makes me so happy!

I’m only on the show for ONE MINUTE. Literally the fastest minute of my life. But I am very grateful!! It was just a joy and so much fun to do it and to be asked. So, to The Drew Barrymore Show and Alex, thank you! Thank you!

I know a terrific resturant in Va. BCH. Va. That makes fabulous food and desserts. Although they have been in business for over twenty years the pandemic has taken its toll on this terrific resturant. How can I get the Drew Barrymore Show to help save this restaurant
