If you don't like peppermint, simply omit the crushed peppermint candies and add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract instead of the peppermint extract. You can also add chocolate chips, or mini Reeses peanut butter cups for fun.

Instructions
For the mug cake: Using a medium to large sized mug, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the avocado oil, milk crushed peppermint candies and pure peppermint extract until well combined. Mix in chocolate chips if desired. Sprinkle more crushed peppermint candies over the top.
Place your mug into your microwave for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.* Cook until the cake is set. Insert a toothpick into the center to ensure the cake is cooked through. Set aside for 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!
